YNOT Wednesday Recap: June 12th 2019
Last week got rowdy at YNOT Wednesdays! Nine singer/songwriters took the stage announcing new music, upcoming shows, and had the crowd singing along with some of their greatest cuts!
Round one consisted of one of Big Machines newest additions, Lauren Weinthraub, who performed a handful of her original martial including “The Earth Is Flat,” which is gaining crazy recognition all over Nashville for its deep and beautiful metaphors exposing the ugly truth to the faded loves we often don’t speak of. Ian McConnell was also a part of kicking the night off and gave us a sneak preview to his latest single, “What Did I Get Into,” which it out now! Also releasing new music, and frequent co-writer of Ian’s, Morgan Johnston took on YNOT for her first time.
Another Big Machine artist, Dan Smalley, was a part of the second-round last week and performing some of his best-known originals, including ‘Love a Man.’ Reminiscent of one of country music’s greatest stars, Dolly Parton, Sony Music recording artist Hannah Dasher had Live Oak off their barstools and on their feet moving along to every song; including one of her well known hits, ‘1990’s Heartbreak!’ Returning to the YNOT stage, Clint Daniels also had the room singing along to his Eric Church cut, ‘Some Of US.’
We were lucky enough in round three to have some pretty busy on-the-rise country stars fit us into their schedule before a crazy weekend! Drew Parker gave YNOT a sneak peek of his set before opening for Luke Combs this past weekend in New Hampshire! Austin Jenckes, who had his Grand Old Opry Debut this weekend, also gained a handful of new fans at last week’s round. Finally, if you’re a Nashville local or a regular YNOT Wednesday attendee, you know it is always a treat when Jordan Fletcher is on the stage. If you haven’t yet, be sure to check out his latest live cover on our YouTube channel!
Did you miss us last week? Don’t worry- we’ll be back at Live Oak on Demonbreun next Wednesday, June 26th!
